Behaviour Consultations

Following a pre-visit questionnaire, clients will receive a 2 ½ hour home consultation, written behaviour modification plan and follow up support via phone/email.

Consults are available for dogs, covering a range of issues:

  • General anxiety, fear and phobias (sonophobia)
  • Separation anxiety
  • Excessive behaviour
  • Repetitive/compulsive/stereotypic behaviour
  • Aggression e.g. Resource guarding, territorial, reactivity on walks etc.
  • House soiling and marking

The cost is £399, which includes a Pre Visit Questionnaire, a consult of approximately 2 ½ hours, a full written Behaviour Modification Plan and follow on support by phone or email.  Further visits, where necessary are charge at £115 per session.

Home One-to-One Dog Training

Helping clients resolve a range of training issues including:

  • Pulling on the lead
  • Recall
  • Boisterous/attention seeking behaviour
  • General control/obedience training

Home visit: £65 per hour*

*training will not be covered by client's insurance policy

Puppy Classes

Covering basic puppy training, socialisation, habituation to practice and procedure and puppy confidence exercises.

6 week course, Sunday mornings: £90 - this also includes a copy of our Puppy Booklet 

You will have the opportunity to achieve The Kennel Club's ‘Good Citizens Puppy Foundation Certificate' 

Talks for New Puppy Owners

Held in your practice or via telephone, a 2 hour talk for new owners, cover the below topics for puppies:

  • Socialisation
  • House training
  • Bite inhibition and more…

Cost: £20 per person

Puppy Home Visits

One to one session, will provide clients will an opportunity to ask questions that may not be addressed in vaccination or nurse appointments.

Sessions will be client led but will cover topics including:

  • General care
  • Socialisation
  • House training
  • Bite Inhibition
  • Jumping up
  • Basic training 

Cost: £95 for 1 ½ hour session - this also includes a copy of our Puppy Booklet 

*Available for puppies up to 6 months old.

 

Advice

General dog behaviour advice

Including:

  • Pre-purchase advice for puppies or rescue dogs.
  • Simple behaviour issues

Telephone/remote consultations, cost: £55 per session*

* If a full behaviour consult is indicated, £55 will be discounted.

CPD Sessions

CPD session, for your clinical team!

Bespoke CPD sessions covering all aspects of behaviour and training specially tailored for Vets, nurses and receptionists. Sessions options include:

  • Lunch and learn held onsite or remote
  • 1 day behaviour courses
  • 2 day course for nurses running puppy classes for clients
  • Or bespoke sessions covering practice specific topics
