Amelia Battersby

Amelia graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2012. She spent the first six years of her career working in small animal practice in Derbyshire before moving up to the Leeds area with her husband Richard. She then became a locum vet and worked in a large number of practices across the North of England before deciding to become a permanent member of the Holly House team in 2020.

Amelia joins Holly House in a surgical role and is currently studying for her Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery. She enjoys both orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, with a particular interest in surgical oncology, and is a member of the Veterinary Society of Surgical Oncologists. When not operating, she helps to run our CT referral service and offers surgical mentoring to our more recent graduates.
