Daisy's Case Study

Daisy is a FN 3 year 7 month old domestic shorthaired cat. She has been treated extensively over the last 12 months for metastatic mammary adenocarcinoma. A few years ago, She developed mammary masses which were removed and found to be benign, however a third mass was malignant.

Daisy had many visits and extended hospital stays for CT scans, staged surgical mammary strips and finally a course of chemotherapy with doxirubicin. Advice from a Chemotherapy consultation service was sought due to this being a cancer less commonly seen and treated. Daisy is in remission currently and will have checkups every few months.
