Hazel is a Clinical Animal Behaviourist and a full member of the APBC and registered as a CAB with the ABTC. She is also a Kennel Club Accredited Dog Trainer (KCAI(CD)) and has a Masters degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare, where she specialised in Dog Behaviour. Hazel has over 15 years’ experience working as dog trainer and undertaking behaviour consultations.
She ran her own business as a Dog Behaviourist taking referrals from vets before joining Holly House Vets; previously she worked as a lecturer and manger in a land based college where amongst other things she managed the Canine Department and delivered Canine related courses up to degree level. She is also an assessor for the Kennel Club for aspiring dog training instructors. She is currently completing her portfolio to become a Certified Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CCAB).
She has owned and trained her own dogs for over 35 years and currently owns a male Rhodesian Ridgeback, named Duke.
