Sara Ramsey

Sara graduated from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, Edinburgh in 2002. She started work in Dewsbury in a busy small animal practice, after a year she moved to Lincoln and remained in small animal and charity practice for 10 years. In 2013 she moved back home to Yorkshire and joined Holly House vets.

Sara passed her BSAVA Post Graduate Certificate in small animal medicine in 2018 and is a  RCVS Advanced Practitioner in small animal medicine. In her role as a VetGDP adviser, she works closely coaching and mentoring veterinary graduates.

In 2022 Sara was appointed Head of the Medicine Department at Holly House. Along with the other Heads of Department she endeavors to make sure we continue to offer the best care for our patients and their owners. 

Sara enjoys endocrinology and haematology and is responsible for many of the chemotherapy cases seen at the practice. She particularly enjoys managing co-morbidities and working with clients to find the best way forward for their pet.
